Monolith Soft’s 2017 open-world RPG receives a massive technical upgrade tomorrow with the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 — Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
The updated release addresses the severe dynamic resolution scaling and frame drops that impacted original hardware:
- Target Resolution & Frame Rate: Native 1440p docked at locked 60 FPS (1080p portable).
- Enhanced Draw Distances: Eliminates pop-in across the open Titan environments like Gormott and Uraya.
- Complete Edition Cartridge: Includes all original Expansion Pass content and Torna – The Golden Country pre-installed on a single high-speed cartridge.
