Elemental Status Effects and Weapon Trait Swapping

Combat mechanics introduce elemental damage interactions designed to shatter specialized enemy targets.

• Fire Damage: Burns Xenomorph hives and clears dangerous acidic floor hazards created by dead enemies.
• Electricity Damage: Stuns Synthetic android enemies and applies slow-down debuffs to charging targets.
• Cryo Effects: Freezes enemies in place, allowing squadmates to trigger high-damage shatter attacks.
• Weapon Trait Sharing: Maxing out a weapon unlocks its unique trait (such as recoil damping or range extension), which can then be equipped onto other weapons within the same class category.
