Publisher Secret Mode has confirmed that Fangtopia, the highly anticipated landscape-puzzler, is officially expanding its launch horizons. Originally announced strictly as a PC release, the carefree, scare-free hex-tile builder is now actively in development for both the PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch 2. The decision follows overwhelming community feedback during a recent Steam Next Fest demo, where players begged for a way to play the cozy title on consoles and handhelds.

The gameplay in Fangtopia challenges players to piece together randomly generated terrain tiles to create idyllic, wholesome habitats for friendly, misunderstood mythical monsters like werewolves, yetis, and ghosts. With zero timers, no combat, and a heavy emphasis on vibrant, relaxing environmental design, the game is positioning itself as the ultimate wind-down title for late 2026. The developer promised that the console versions will feature fully optimized tactile controls and native touchscreen support for the Switch 2.
