IO Interactive has officially deployed Update 1.1.0 for 007 First Light across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Epic Games Store. Marking the stealth-action game’s first massive post-launch patch, the update delivers a sweeping sweep of technical polish—fixing over 200 community-reported issues—while introducing brand-new Tactical Simulation (TacSim) content.

New TacSim Content & Intel Store Unlocks
While technical fixes were the priority, IO Interactive packed fresh progression rewards into the post-launch update. Players can now tackle two new three-tier TacSim Escalations:
- The Workshop Escalation: A quiet, low-light stealth challenge forcing players to eliminate seven hostiles without breaking cover.
- Extraction Avenues Escalation: A high-stakes route-planning challenge where players must secure data and escape before response forces lock down the perimeter.
High-level players can also spend their accrued Intel currency on four new unlocks via the TacSim clearance shop:
| Item | Type | Clearance Level Required | Intel Cost |
| Stormberg .50cal | Heavy Pistol | Level 10 | 3,000 Intel |
| DRX-2 | Machine Pistol | Level 12 | 3,000 Intel |
| DRS-7 | Silenced SMG | Level 16 | 3,000 Intel |
| Diamond in the Rough | Spy Outfit | Level 18 | 3,000 Intel |
Critical Technical Fixes & Stability Improvements
In addition to eliminating progression-blocking glitches and fixing infamous bugged achievements (such as Recovered Assets and Keep Moving Forward), Patch 1.1.0 targets several platform-specific bugs:
- Xbox Series S Stability: Resolved several crash triggers during the “Time to Die” boss fight, extended menu usage, and cinematic transitions.
- Offline Mode Access: Fixed a major bug on the Epic Games Store where offline play locked players out of story chapters past “Against the Odds”.
- Controller & Input Buffers: Fixed an Xbox wireless controller reconnection bug that previously required a full game reboot, as well as an issue on PlayStation where Aim Down Sights (ADS) stopped working after pulling up system menus.
- TacSim Console Unresponsiveness: Fixed a widespread UI glitch where the TacSim Mission Selector, Gadget Cart, and Intel Shop would lock up.
Patch sizes vary dramatically by platform, ranging from a modest 1.39 GB download on Xbox Series consoles up to 23.84 GB on PlayStation 5.
